Pathstone Mental Health
How We Can Help
Thank you to the hundreds of people who walked through the doors and joined us to celebrate Pathstone's new home of Children's Mental Health. We are thrilled you were able to join us for the official Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the Branscombe Mental Health Centre on Friday June 16, 2017. This state of the art facility can be seen as a symbol of hope for children, youth and families dealing with mental health issues, and a grateful tribute to all those who made it possible.
Thank you to our local media partners for your support and news coverage:
Join us to celebrate 10 years success of The Arson Prevention Program for Children that we run in partnership with Fire Prevention officers across Niagara.

Pathstone responds to the Netflix series '13 Reasons Why' with a statement and an interview in the local newspaper.
Pathstone CEO, Shaun Baylis was quoted in the Niagara this Week article in response to questions surrounding the Netflix series. Baylis stated "while it has led to discussion about bullying, sexual assault, victim blaming and other issues, it hasn't necessarily been done in the healthiest way." He added, "young people are already watching the show, and parents, should watch it with them or at least open a dialogue, asking if they've ever had feelings of anxiety"
May 1-7, 2017 is Children's Mental Health Awareness Week!
This week is about increasing awareness of the signs of child and youth mental health problems, decreasing stigma, understanding that help is available and "Treatment Works".
Keep an eye out for landmarks across the Niagara Region that will shine green to raise awareness of this week (Niagara Falls, Peace Bridge, Skylon Tower, Welland Bridge, Pelham arches)
Why green? Today we use green to signify new life, new growth and new beginnings.
