Pathstone Mental Health
How We Can Help
Our new home was featured on CHCH news on April 18th. Watch this video for a view inside the Branscombe Mental Health Centre, and an interview with our CEO, Shaun Baylis.
Exciting to see so many of our favourite landmarks across the Niagara Region shining green in support of Childrens' Mental Health Awareness Week. The colour green is used to help raise public awareness and show support to children, youth and families dealing with mental health issues. Green signifies new life, new growth and new beginnings.
Pathstone responds to the Netflix series '13 Reasons Why' with a statement and an interview in the local newspaper.
Pathstone CEO, Shaun Baylis was quoted in the Niagara this Week article in response to questions surrounding the Netflix series. Baylis stated "while it has led to discussion about bullying, sexual assault, victim blaming and other issues, it hasn't necessarily been done in the healthiest way." He added, "young people are already watching the show, and parents, should watch it with them or at least open a dialogue, asking if they've ever had feelings of anxiety"
