How is Pathstone Mental Health different from Pathstone Foundation?

As a transfer payment agency, Pathstone Mental Health receives provincial and municipal government funding and is responsible for the delivery of specific mental health services to children, youth and their families in the Niagara Region. Pathstone is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of residents from the Niagara community. Pathstone Foundation has a separate Board of Directors and does not receive government funding. Its primary purpose is to raise and manage additional funds in support of the long term operation of the agency.
